The Akashic records (Akasha is a Sanskrit word meaning “sky”, “space” or “aether”) are collectively understood to be a collection of mystical knowledge that is encoded in the aether; i.e. on a non-physical plane of existence. Most writings refer to the Akashic Records in the area of human experience but it is understood that all phenomenal experience as well as transcendental knowledge is encoded therein.
In general our belief is that the Akashic Records are the energetic records of all souls about their past lives, the present lives, and possible future lives. Each soul has its own Akashic Record for each lifetime. The Hall (or Library) of the Akashic Records is where all souls’ Akashic Records are stored energetically. In other words, the information is stored in the Akashic field (also called zero point field). The Akashic Records, however, are not a dry compilation of events – they also contain our collective wisdom!
You don’t need to be an adept to read the Akashic Records but with some concentrated practice this will happen easily. Be sure to remember:
- The records can be a great resource to understand yourself better and to do important inner work;
- Records are normally private and only with permission may another’s records be accessed;
I have been successful in accessing my own Akashic Records a few times and the knowledge and insight is truly beyond what your mind could imagine. There is a sure sense of this information received being truthful and that it can be trusted when planning to do serious inner work or just have a deeper understanding of one’s self.
